BTP800 units containing Sherlock sensors expedite passport and identity verification across Ukrainian and Interpol databases. While currently only used for border control, these units can also support law enforcement, financial services, hospitality, healthcare, and other governmental applications.
Sherlock enhances this tablet-based solution by enabling officers to image fingerprints without turning the tablets over or around, thus preventing individuals in the queue from seeing private information. Since Sherlock runs for hours off the power provided by each tablet, there’s no need for a separate battery pack or power cord. Agents focus on border control rather than worrying about docking stations or where to find fresh batteries.
