Commitment to quality and ongoing improvement helps the company continue to innovate and lead in the development of FBI certified biometric fingerprint scanners.
Integrated Biometrics announced today that its Korean subsidiary achieved ISO 9001 recertification (AQ-15L301/1), matching the status of the company’s Spartanburg, SC location. ISO 9001 covers a range of requirements to ensure high levels of quality for products, delivered consistently over time, as well as guidance for continual improvement. This recertification covers all aspects of the company’s Korean facility with respect to the design, development, and production of biometric fingerprint scanners.
This award upgrades certification from the ISO 9001 2008 to the ISO 9001 2015 standards, and indicates that the company’s quality management programs meet or exceed international standards. Partners and end users receive assurance that they receive superior products and exceptional customer support.
For us, ISO 9001 means more than meeting a set of requirements. It’s a structured process that helps us build better products. We’re scaling manufacturing to meet growing international demand. ISO 9001 confirms that we’re ready to grow while maintaining the quality our customers demand. – Yoon Seok Joon, Quality Manager at Integrated Biometrics’ Korean facility
