CORVUS INTEGRATION HAS ANNOUNCED THE LAUNCH OF THE CORVUS TETRAD MOBILE BIOMETRIC SOLUTION WHICH USES INTEGRATED BIOMETRIC’S “FIVE-O” FOUR-SLAP FINGERPRINT SCANNER.
The Tetrad features an 8-inch tablet in a rugged case, with Corvus’ 5mp dual iris and face sensors, a contact and contactless card reader from Identiv, and a Gemalto MRZ reader in addition to the Appendix F-certified Integrated Biometrics fingerprint scanner. The tablet runs Windows 10 Professional, and has 4 GB of RAM, a 64 GB SSD, two USB 3 ports and an RJ-45 network connection, according to the announcement. It comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, with available 3G or 4G support.
“We believe the Tetrad is the most powerful portable identity device on the market today” states Jeff Kormanec, CEO of Corvus Integration. “Tetrad provides all the capabilities needed for identity management applications packaged in a small, handheld form factor.”
The Tetrad’s biometric capabilities are powered by Corvus’ Raven Identity Solution software, with on-board matching provided by Neurotechnology algorithms. Raven also provides configurable biographics and communication with external databases, and SDKs are available for integration with software applications.
Easy disassembly and module replacement are enabled by the Tetrad’s modular design, and the case includes free space for additional peripherals, while the internal hub includes additional ports for USB or serial connections.
