Watson Mini Helping Coroners ID Deceased Faster

DecedentID featuring Watson MiniDENVER, CO. — Multiple biometric industry media outlets are reporting on WoVo Identity Solutions debuting their FingerSCAN DecedentID solution at the Colorado Coroners Association Annual Conference this month.

Utilizing the Integrated Biometrics Watson Mini fingerprint scanner, FingerSCAN DecedentID simplifies and expedites the identification process of recently deceased individuals within hours of the death rather than days, so concerned family members can be notified faster.

The application runs on commercial-off-the-shelf Android devices, and was debuted by WoVo Identity Solutions after a pilot project in which the device was tested by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

Watson Mini’s compliance with the FBI’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System and Appendix F standards, ensures that medical officials using the solution can be confident in FingerSCAN DecedentID’s efficacy.
