How It Works

A high resolution, live fingerprint sensing scanner and client scan control software must exist on every participating Citrix client workstation where biometric security logon is desired. During user enrollment, designated fingerprint images are processed and identifying information is extracted and stored in a template file associated with each finger enrolled.

No fingerprint image is stored nor can it be recreated from the data stored in the user template files.

All communication and data storage is fully encrypted to ensure maximum system security. When logon is initiated, IBidentifi Enterprise for Citrix captures a fingerprint image with a USB connected scanner on the workstation. The image is processed and compared to the enrolled templates stored in the Active Directory server(s).
